Founder and Principal Instructor at CARDESIGN.ACADEMY, Eric Stoddard is a passionate, accomplished automotive designer with 22 years experience at Ford, Hyundai and Chrysler. Eric has led the design of numerous concept and production vehicles, and taught many aspiring designers at College for Creative Studies, Art Center College of Design and Cleveland Institute of Art.
Roman is a car interior designer with proven international experience in Italy and China. Worked at Bertone/FIAT/IVECO/SGMW. Currently based in Italy, Roman works as an independent design-contractor and design-instructor.
Alessandro Cipolli is Founder and Designer at Supermonkey, working currently with several clients around the world. 10 years of experience in the automotive industry working for Pininfarina, and FCA. His projects include Fiat Panda, Fiat 500, 500L, 500X and Alfa Romeo Giulia. Alessandro has been an instructor at IED for 12 years, and Coordinator of the Master in Transportation Design, in charge of 5 show car thesis projects. His areas of expertise include 2D drawing, 3D modeling and, above all, creative thinking.
Ed Stubbs runs the final year of Coventry University’s Automotive and Transport BA course. His recent background includes roles at Nissan Design Europe (Design quality), Ford of Europe (Future product design + strategy) and design and strategic consultancy projects (Kia, Honda etc) as well as vehicle development roles in the US and Europe. His areas of expertise include design strategy, ideation and innovation, user experience, 2D and 3D design and modelling.
Jim Rampton is a UX/UI designer who specializes in vehicle digital interface. He's been a lead product designer at General Motors for 3 years, specializing in vehicle health & alerts. His produces wireframes and user flows and works with outside firms to bring these interactions to life. His most recent work has been for the upcoming Cadillac Lyriq electric SUV.
